Mumbai (The Hawk): As a part of the festivals' official selection, the coming-of-age movie "Kacchey Limbu" will screen at the World Film Festival of Bangkok and the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). The movie, which was directed for the first time by Shubham Yogi, has Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha, and Ayush Mehra in prominent parts.
The 27th International Film Festival of Kerala will be held in Thiruvananthapuram from December 9 to December 16 while the World Film Festival of Bangkok will run from December 2 to December 11.
Earlier in September, the movie had its global premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Actress Radhika Madan expressed her joy, saying, "It feels amazing that our movie "Kacchey Limbu," which had its world premiere at TIFF, is still being embraced by audiences throughout the globe. I'm overjoyed that it was chosen for the IFFK and Bangkok World Film Festivals. I'm eager for the audience to see this movie because I love it so much."
Aditi, a little girl racing to realise the expectations that everyone has for her, is the subject of the heartwarming sibling drama "Kacchey Limbu." Aditi ultimately makes the decision to take matters into her own hands in an effort to show everyone that confusion is not always a negative thing and that with time, the right choice will come to a person.
Director Shubham Yogi echoed Radhika's sentiments and added, ""Kacchey Limbu" is a movie about discovering your voice and it was inspired by a very typical adolescent experience. I feel fortunate and appreciative that the movie continues to find a platform at prominent festivals like Bangkok and IFFK after its excellent showcase at TIFF. I couldn't have wished for a better start as a new filmmaker ".
